After some horrendous traffic in Washington (flipped semi near Centralia, rush hour in Tacoma and construction in Seattle) we finally got home after driving about 10.5 hours. Long day, but glad to have done it in one stretch and be back. One bright spot – News1130 said there was a 40 minute border lineup. There were 3 cars. News1130 said that Highway 1 was backed up to 200th coming in from the valley. Nope, smooth sailing all the way. So don’t believe everything you hear ;).
So we’re home, but not for long – we leave Saturday morning for a Sechelt B&B for definite relaxation with Bruce & Janice. In the meantime, I have tried to catch up on the blogs (anyone notice?) and have also managed to post a small number of the over 2300 pictures that (mostly) I managed to take while we were gone. You can view them here.
I’ll post after we get back from Sechelt, no doubt with other pics.
